Drew returned to competitive driving in 2002, winning two autocross championships and a time trial championship his first year back behind the wheel.

In 2003 Drew won every regional autocross and every time trial he entered, including scoring two FTD’s (Fastest Time of the Day).

In 2007 Drew moved to National Auto Sports Association competeing in the NASA German Touring Sportscar Series and the NASA Endurance Series.

In 2008 Drew won both the NASA Southeast Endurance Championship and the GTS-3 Championship.

Drew began his racing career as a student of Dave White at the Akin-White Endurance Racing School at Sebring in 1990.

In April 1991 Drew lost the use of his legs as a passenger in an auto accident. After his accident Drew returned to University and took up competitive water skiing in a sit-ski.

Drew competed at the national level and was the 2000 US Jump Champion.

In 2004 Drew moved to Historic Road Racing, and he won the HSR Dash Series Championship.

Drew finished the 2005 season second in all four championships he competed in, but returned in 2006 to win the Rolex Historic Championship in GT-1.
